In 3 years The RoaR Showcase has become one of the leading Urban Music Showcase events promoting independent & unsigned artists in the UK. It has been held in association with Twylyte Team, Radio One (as part of the Brighton Live Festival), Film Academy & UK UNSIGNED and has been hosted by one of the UK's funniest stand up comedians Kojo, BBC 1xtra DJ Twin B & singer Xavier.

Held every 2-3 months the event has attracted representatives from various music labels such as Sony BMG, Island, Universal & Warner Music and a host of independent labels too. It has previously received media attention from Channel 4, Channel U, Kiss FM, Radio One, bOOdOOf, britishhiphop.co.uk, Live Listings Magazine, New Nation & The Voice Newspaper.

Artists who have previously featured on the show and gone on to bigger things include Baby Blu who has since worked with Estelle & Sway and Four Kornerz who picked up a Gospel Entertainment Music (GEM) Award & performed at the 02 Wireless Festival in Hyde Park which was headlined by alternative acts including Basement Jaxx & Kasabian.

Not only does the show provide a platform for UK urban acts to perform. It also welcomes a select panel of top representatives from the music industry that have previously included producer Fusion, Soundbwoy Ents, Glamma Kid, J-Aye (Twylyte Team), Kele Le Roc, Riko Dan (Roll Deep) to offer advice to aspiring artists regarding the music industry.
